The food was excellent and we had terrific seats slightly away from the main area whichallowed us to feel private without being so. Each course was explained in detail and had so much flavour. But the room is bright, due to the large windows and judicious use of mirrors. Me and my boyfriend visited the Cellar Door for his birthday on a recent trip to Edinburgh, the food was excellent, the broccoli and cheese soup was gorgeous, steak was excellently cooked and the sticky toffee pudding was the best I have ever had, we both went away very full and happy! The restaurant accommodated the 70 of us and we felt incredibly well looked after by Lorna and all her team.
